The Aging in Placers are adults aged 55+ and supportive generations driving the charge to shape how our community supports housing options for aging in place right here in DeKalb County.
The Aging in Placers Initiative has a strong focus on options that help older adults remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their chosen homes and communities.
Educate.
Equip participants with trusted, practical knowledge to navigate aging in place in DeKalb County.
Advocate.
Champion policy and community changes that improve safety, affordability, and housing choice.
Build Community.
Host social activities that bond and inspire residents across
generations.
