NACA’s Achieve the Dream Event offers renters and first-time homebuyers an unprecedented opportunity to take steps toward homeownership by accessing NACA’s Best in America Mortgage program, which includes:

• No mortgage insurance
• No fees
• Below-market fixed interest rates

Unlike traditional lending programs, NACA’s mortgage process does not consider credit scores, focusing instead on an applicant’s financial readiness. 

Existing low to moderate homeowners can access NACA’s Best in America mortgage to refinance their property, with or without an existing mortgage, to access funds for important repairs and necessary renovations. The repairs must address significant issues, such as code, safety, health, and structural concerns.

Know Before You Go

The Achieve the Dream / NACA homeownership event runs March 13th to March 15th with multiple sessions throughout each day at The Gallery at South DeKalb. Session times vary from morning through evening. Please check the schedule onsite or in your registration confirmation. 

Documents You Should Bring to NACA Event for Qualifying

To ensure a successful counseling and qualifying session, please bring all applicable documents listed below.

Required Documents

• Proof of Income
• Recent pay stubs
• Award letters (SSI, SSDI, pension, child support, etc.)
• Tax returns (especially required if self-employed)

If Self-Employed

• Most recent two years of tax returns
• Profit and loss statement (if available)

Additional Information

• Photo ID (recommended)
• Any documentation that supports household income

Not Required

• Bank statements
• (NACA counselors have secure tools to access bank data during the session.)

Important Note

The most critical requirement is bringing all proof of income. Missing income documentation may delay or prevent qualification.
