We had a wonderful time kicking off the Aging in Placers initiative on Friday, May 23. You can click here to view the Powerpoint Presentation.

This Kick Off Meeting was spent getting to know fellow Aging in Placers in attendance, introducing the initiative, and answering your questions.

A steering committee was formed to begin to develop programming for the remainder of the year that focuses on education, advocacy, and community building.

Following a successful kickoff on May 23, we are moving forward with planning by the Aging in Placers steering committee (volunteers from the kickoff) and results of the survey, which aims to gather more details from all those who completed the Aging in Placers Interest Form.
