Join Commissioner Terry, the D6 Team, and DeKalb Green New Dealers in celebrating the environmental accomplishments achieved and the community made in 2023.

This event is free and open to all. Food and drinks available for purchase.

In celebration of the giving season, Commissioner Terry and the District 6 Office are hosting a supply drive for our fury friends at the DeKalb Animal Shelter. Bring any of the following items on December 20 and we’ll be happy to donate to DeKalb County Animal Services, managed by LifeLine Animal Services.

  • Cat toys
  • Purina® Cat Chow Complete dry food and canned wet food
  • Purina® Dog Chow dry food and canned dog food
  • Dog treats
  • Nylon collars, M size
  • Martingale collars, M-L sizes
  • Wire crates for off-site adoptions and our foster program
  • Airline crates, L-XL sizes
  • Scoopable or clay Cat Litter
  • Blankets and towels (no large comforters or electric blankets, please)
  • Office supplies
  • Newspaper to line cages
  • Supplies to support our enrichment program: paper-towel rolls, toilet paper rolls, kongs and xylitol free peanut-butter
  • Cleaning and sanitary items such as paper towels, bleach, and detergent
  • Tru-Catch Light Duty Animal Traps & Classic Deluxe Animal Traps for helping to trap-neuter-return (TNR) community cats.
  • Kuranda dog and cat beds

Getting there:

  • Accessible by bus
  • Around a 5 minute walk from the Decatur MARTA Station
  • Parking is available on the streets surrounding Inner Voice (these may require payment)
  • Free parking after 5 pm at the Maloof Building (across the street from Inner Voice)
